This book will help everyone understand what the the affected person is going through and how to respond, what to say, how to offer support, what to do without inadvertantly making things for difficult for the person going through treatment.

Healthy people often are unsure what to say, or how to offer support, even if they are desperate to do so, we just don’t know what to do. This book tells you straight up how to help, since Tracy went through treatments and all the emotional upheaval herself, she knows. It’s especially hard for a single person to deal with cancer but family and friends are a stronger support system than some significant others are.

I find this an incredibly valuable and important book. This book really makes a difference. It should be mandatory reading for anyone who has been touched by cancer.
